Zakharova explained the words of the Japanese Minister about the “sharp” conversation with Russia
The official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova commented on the results of negotiations between Russia and Japan on the signing of the peace Treaty.
On Friday, may 10, the heads of diplomatic departments of Russia and Japan held talks in Moscow. The event was devoted to the problems of signing a peace Treaty between the countries.
Maria Zakharova on his page on the social network Facebook left a record, which drew attention to the fact that the foreign Minister of Japan on the results of negotiations with Sergey Lavrov stated that during the conversation, the parties sometimes reached harsh statements. As noted by the representative of the Russian foreign Ministry, after these words, the members of the Russian delegation were forced to exchange glances with each other.
According to Maria Zakharova, this situation is due to the difference in the mentality of the Japanese and Russians. That for the first “sharp statements”, for others – business conversation.
“Lavrov chuckled. All of us who attended the meeting, looked at each other, not knowing what it was about. Apparently, we have a different idea with the Japanese about “harsh statements”,” Maria Zakharova writes.
Earlier, “political Russia” quoted political expert Dmitry Solonnikov, who assessed the chances of concluding a peace Treaty between Russia and Japan.
