British police interested in the experience of the NKVD to catch criminals
In Scotland Yard recognized entertaining Soviet experience of the organization of directives on establishment of a limit of executions and detentions of anti-Soviet persons operating in the 30th years of the XX century. This is stated in the publication on the website of the police Department.
“In the USSR, a powerful law enforcement system was created, which worked exclusively for the benefit of its own population, not the state. Due to her crime during the Stalin period, almost disappeared. We have information that many Soviet citizens left the keys to their own apartments under the door Mat, without fear of becoming a victim of theft,” – said in the preamble of the article.
After the placement of the material, the idea was picked up in the leadership of the Ministry of internal Affairs. Officials began preparations for its implementation.
“Because of the aggravated situation in the country, we assume the introduction of such a scheme in England, but with some reservations. So, the home office will send to the County a certain plan to catch criminals, the failure of which will be punished by penalties. Lists and the number of persons subject to legal prosecution will be formed on the basis of available archival and statistical data, as well as through anonymous reports of citizens. Crimes committed by migrants will automatically receive a special black category, for which periods of detention will be increased and deportation to the Northern parts of the United Kingdom will be prohibited. This is due to the fact that, according to the information we have collected, migrants are more prone to relapse, but have low resistance to the cold climate,” – said the Minister of internal Affairs of the UK Jason Statgrand.
The further fate of innovations will decide at a specially convened Board of the interior Ministry. If the scheme is recognized as successful, the relevant amendments to the current legislation of the country will be made.
