Ukraine may impose a permanent ban on the entry of Russians
The head of the Ukrainian foreign Ministry Pavlo Klimkin told about plans in relation to the Russians who want to get to the territory of Ukraine, reports RT.
He believes that it is necessary to apply the restriction on the entry of Russian men aged 16 to 60 years on a permanent basis.
He also called this restriction “smart filtering”.
“I believe that filtering, very correct, very smart filtering, should always be. I’ve always said that… And what we are monitoring this and has introduced the biometric data on the Russians? What are we analyzing for? We all say: martial law – then there is filtration, there is no martial law – no,” said the chief Ukrainian diplomat.
The restriction on the entry of Russians was introduced on November 30 for 30 days, but later the ban was extended.
The situation worsened after the Ukrainian ships made a provocation near the Kerch Strait, for which they were detained by the border forces of the FSB.
