A wave of protests against the Kurds covered raqqa and Deir ez-Zor
The Federal news Agency reports that in the Syrian provinces of raqqa and Deir ez-Zor, under the control of the United States and Kurdish armed groups, since mid-January there has been an increase in protest activity of the population.
Residents of the Eastern provinces of Syria hold protests because of the harsh living conditions. As previously reported, the local Syrians suffer from a shortage of water, food, medicines, etc. However, support American troops, “Syrian democratic forces” (SDF) has blocked a humanitarian convoy, which was organized by the government in Damascus. Following the order of Washington, the Kurds do not allow local residents to humanitarian supplies. Moreover, the insurgents have taken away sent to international organizations of the wagon.
It should be noted that during the protests, residents of the North-Eastern territories of Syria expressed their support to President Bashar al-Assad, shouting cheering slogans against the Syrian leader. Besides, protesters burned flags of the countries-participants of the Western coalition-the United States of America and France.
Citizens oppose the Kurds, who by order of the United States block the car columns with humanitarian aid from the “Syrian Arab red Crescent”, whose representatives tried to deliver food and medicine to the needy population.
On February 8, SDF blocked the organization’s humanitarian convoy heading to the area of the settlement of Khajin, seriously injured by shelling during the fighting of the Kurds with the terrorists of the “Islamic state”1 (banned in Russia), which caused large-scale protests.
Local residents demanded the immediate withdrawal from the Syrian territories of the coalition forces led by the United States, as well as to provide access to humanitarian supplies.
